This Dreaming is associated with a place called Jaralypari, situated to the north of Yuendumu. Lukararra is a grass with an edible seed, also called desert fringe-rush (Fimbristylis oxystacha and eremophylla). The seeds are ground on a large stone to make flour and then mixed with water to make damper cakes.
