Painting on Red Wood

85 x 20 x 2 cm

Ashleigh Pugh is a descendant of the Noongar People from Whadyuk Country. Ash is an accomplished painter and has a phenomenal talent for realism in her work. She works with a variety of media including pyrography, acrylics, jewellery, sculpture and painting on reclaimed items. The Mornington Peninsula is deeply important to her work and Ash is often fishing, harvesting and collecting treasures from the shoreline which informs her practice.
