HEARTH GALLERIES

Opening in 2018 in Healesville, Victoria, Hearth Galleries specialises in Indigenous and other fine contemporary arts, rotating an exciting exhibition program between Aboriginal and non-indigenous art forms. 'Hearth' seeks to partner with community groups and to create a community of practice that highlights and supports the rich local cultural practice within the Yarra Valley, Victoria and beyond.
Hearth provides space for art-making, discussion and other cultural events. Hearth Galleries aims to provide an interface for cross-cultural enlightenment. Like a true hearth, we aim for a gathering space for warmth, sharing and story-telling. And like the words within, Hearth encapsulates the essential nurturing of earth, heart and art.
Hearth Galleries is a project managed by Christine Joy Curation and Exhibitions.
