Peggy is Garrwa, Gudanji and Wambaya and was born on Brunette Downs Station on the Barkly Tablelands. She grew up speaking Gudanji and Wanbaya. Her Country is Garrinjini through her father and grandfather. It is owned by the Mararabarna (mermaid like Ancestral Beings).
